We are proud to announce the appointment of our new student leadership team for the forthcoming academic year, who will continue to build on the excellent work of their predecessors.
Head, Mr Matt Oakman, shared his enthusiasm:
“I am delighted to announce the new student leadership team for the upcoming academic year who will take over from Archie, Isla and Holly, who have been wonderful ambassadors for the school during their time in post. They have always put the school first and have shown the Saint Felix values in abundance; we wish them all the best as they now look to focus on their upcoming A Level examinations.”
Taking on the roles of Heads of School are Marcus and Freya, with Samuel appointed as Deputy Head of School. Together, they will lead the student body, working closely with staff and senior leaders to promote a culture of respect, engagement, and high standards across the school.
The Heads of School will act as role models for younger pupils, support key events and assemblies, and lead the Prefect team in representing student voice and strengthening the school community.
Samuel, as Deputy Head of School, will play a vital role in supporting this leadership, particularly by fostering strong connections between the Prep and Senior Schools, ensuring a consistent and welcoming ethos throughout.
Reflecting on the strength of this year’s applicants, a number of additional prefect roles have been appointed:
- Charles – Student Council Prefect
Acting as a bridge between students and staff, Charles will lead student council meetings and champion student voice. - Millie – Inter-House Prefect
Millie will oversee inter-house competitions, encouraging teamwork, participation, and school spirit. - Ruby-Mae – Values and Inclusion Prefect
Ruby-Mae will promote kindness, respect, and inclusion, supporting diversity and equality across the school. - Rima – Charity and Community Prefect
Rima will lead fundraising initiatives and community engagement, fostering a strong sense of social responsibility. - Ellena – Wellbeing and Student Guidance Prefect
Ellena will support student wellbeing, promoting positive mental health and guiding peers to appropriate support.
Mr Oakman added:
“I know they will continue the fantastic work of their predecessors whilst also shaping the future direction of the school with their thoughts and initiatives.”
We extend our sincere thanks to Miss Rushmere for her work in coordinating such a thorough and successful selection process.
As we look ahead, we are confident that this talented and committed group of students will make a meaningful impact on school life and uphold the values that define our wonderful, kind community.
