Saint Felix School Nursery caters for children aged two to four years. Our bright and airy Nursery Suite provides a stimulating and safe environment, specifically designed to allow our youngest children access to the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
The beautiful, enclosed Nursery garden has climbing equipment, a pirate ship, a miniature version of the Southwold lighthouse, as well as a sand pit and a myriad of trundle and ride-on toys.
In the Nursery, the children have the opportunity to learn and develop wide ranging skills, including the development of independence. They are supported by experienced, qualified staff with degrees in Early Learning and Child Development.
The curriculum is planned to ensure that both indoor and outdoor activities are incorporated into the children's daily routine. Traditional topics change frequently and are led by the children’s interest. Additional activities such as learning a foreign language and swimming are also available.
Every child in the Nursery is assigned a ‘Key Person’ who looks after their individual needs and well-being, and communicates directly with parents on a daily basis. Child observations and information are also shared via the on line Learning Journey.
We are very proud of our wonderful Nursery. Please come for a visit and see for yourself.
