October 8, 2019

To celebrate World Poetry Day you are all invited to a poetry and music evening, which will be held in the Saint Felix Chapel on Thursday 17th October at 7.00pm.

The evening will feature spoken and sung performances by Year 10 – Year 13 students of poems by Byron, Christina Rossetti, Thomas Hardy and Wilfred Owen as well as a series of musical accompaniments and interludes. The performance supports students’ learning as all poems feature on the current GCSE and A level syllabuses. Refreshments and snacks will be available in the Refectory, so if you would like some mid-week entertainment, please support this initiative.
