On Sunday 7 January the senior Equestrian Team competed at Easton & Otley College in the National Schools Equestrian Associations Hickstead Qualifiers:
Katie Hammett, Nathaniel Hurst, Georgia Pleasants and Jack Wilmot finished 1st in the 90cm team, with Georgia and Katie, riding as individuals, finishing in 1st and 2nd place respectively. In the 80cm team
Maria Donovan, Georgia Pleasants, Nathaniel Hurst and Jack Wilmot finished 1st, with Maria and Georgia finishing individually in 1st and 2nd place respectively. The riders have all qualified for the Hickstead Eventers Challenge Championships to be held during May 2018.
Katie Hammett finished in 4th place in the 70cm team class. Unfortunately, Jack Wilmot’s saddle slipped as he entered the ring and although he was allowed to jump his results were not credited to the 70cm team class which meant the team finished in 2nd place, with Maria Donovan finishing as an individual in 5th place.
