PTA
The main role of our PTA is to build strong working relationships amongst parents, teachers, and school and to support the students.
We always fund raise to be able to purchase all the little extra items that the school funds cannot stretch to, to enhance the learning of our students.

Jane Rainer (CHAIR)

Jane became chairperson of the PTA in January 2019, after only joining the PTA in September 2018.
She has two daughters at the school, one in Year 11, and one in Year 7.
Jane feels the PTA is an important part of school life, bringing parents and staff together to help raise funds and provide fun, entertaining events for the children and families at the school.

Tania Cooper (VICE CHAIR)

Tania became Vice Chairperson of the PTA in October 2019 having been with the PTA for a year.
She has 2 children at the school, one in Year 3 and one in Year 5.
Tania sees the PTA as being the perfect way to give something back to our wonderful school, helping to raise funds through togetherness and fun!

Cathy Pitts (Secretary)

Cathy joined the PTA in October 2019, when her two children joined the school after the family moved to the area. She became Secretary in October 2020.
Cathy’s children are now in Year 4 and Year 6. Cathy sees the PTA as a brilliant way of becoming involved in the school community and an outlet for her pathological need to organise!

Lynn Newman (Treasurer)

Lynn has been a parent at the school for 15 years and currently has a son in Year 6.
It is Lynn’s belief that the PTA is key to nurturing a supportive school community between parents, students and staff. On a personal note, taking an active role is Lynn’s way of giving back to the school by showing that she appreciates the staff’s energy and effort especially during this challenging time.
