Miss Jade Wong
Head of Preparatory Department
Clough House is home to our Preparatory Department. Here, we cater to the educational journey of children aged 7 to 11, encompassing the dynamic years of Year 3 to Year 6.
In Clough House, pupils transition from the Pre-Prep Department, embarking on a transformative four-year journey. Pupils in our Prep department grow in confidence whilst maturing, emerging fully prepared for the challenges of the Senior Department and the path to GCSE and A Level success.
Clough House is a special place where fun, creative learning captures the pupils’ interest. Inside, each classroom has interactive whiteboards, while specialised facilities, including dedicated art, music, ICT, and cookery spaces afford pupils opportunities to expand their creativity and learn valuable life skills. An exciting, interactive new science room is currently being developed, with expansive renovations taking place in each classroom, with completion planned for the new academic year, September 2024. Outside, plenty of green space and play equipment await, offering ample space for creativity, imagination and exploration.
Continuing from Pre-Prep, our Prep pupils benefit from weekly lessons in our enchanting Forest School. They learn about our beautiful natural world through fun, exciting, creative tasks, providing skills and knowledge that transfer to both the classroom and everyday life.
We ensure that every child excels across subjects through a comprehensive syllabus, broadening horizons and deepening our pupils’ knowledge. Saint Felix cultivates an environment that nurtures self-confidence, self-esteem and individuality, fostering growth within a warm and nurturing setting.
