Although starting at a new school is exciting and fun, we understand that it can also be a time of uncertainty, and some children can feel overwhelmed; it is also vitally important that you are confident that the school is the right ‘fit’ for your child. Therefore, as part of our nurturing and wellbeing processes, we are excited to announce our Prep Department Taster Day, where children aged between 4 and 11 can spend a half or full day with us and experience the warm, kind, close-knit community of Saint Felix. A Taster Day provides a wonderful opportunity to ease any uncertainties, reassuring both you and your child; it will also make your decision-making process smoother.
The Taster Day will start at 8.20am, where your child will be welcomed by our lovely Head of Admissions, Miss Jen Burch, and Head of Prep, Miss Jade Wong. Your child will be allocated with a carefully selected ‘buddy’, a friendly companion from their own year group who will guide them through their day. Your child will enjoy lots of fun lessons and activities throughout the day and will join their new friends for a delicious, freshly prepared lunch in our Dining Hall. As the taster day comes to a close at 3.30pm, Miss Burch and Miss Wong will return to offer insights into your child’s experience and answer any questions you may have before saying goodbye.
