Saint Felix 1st XV - Rugby

Saint Felix 1st XV 39 – Thomas Mills U16’s 24 – Tuesday 2nd October

Saint Felix proved to be worthy winners in an exhibition of running rugby from both teams. The home team scored in the first few minutes, and kept their noses in front for the rest of the match, although Thomas Mills were never far from challenging the result throughout the match.

Saint Felix played a brand of fast controlled chaos rugby.  On occasion this led to a high error count, but when they clicked it led to some great tries through keeping the ball alive, the off-loading game and pops from the floor.  The forwards produced a good platform at a fiercely contested breakdown for the back-line to attack the space, although sometimes individuals were guilty of running into traffic.

There is much to work upon however they should be proud of the team ethic, commitment and skill shown in their opening match of the season.
