The PTA AGM will be held in the Refectory on Friday 15th October at 9.00am, immediately after Pre-Prep and Prep chapel.
As parents, you are all automatically members of the PTA.
In the past, a small group of hard-working parents and staff have organised numerous fundraising events including Bonfire Night, Christmas Fayre, Quiz nights, Summer Fayre and the Summer Ball to name but a few. These events have helped us raise thousands of pounds extra to enable us to give grants out to many departments within the school to help with extras that their school budget doesn’t cover.
This year we need more parents to come to the AGM and volunteer to become part of the committee and attend meetings (usually one per month) during term time. Even if you are not able to commit to being a full member but are willing to help at events, please let us have your name and details as any help is gratefully received.
The PTA adds an extra dimension to the school, enabling parents to get involved in a way that they would not usually be, and I can’t stress strongly enough how important it is for this to continue. However, it cannot do so unless people are willing to be involved and we can persuade more parents to help in all areas.
Please make every effort to come to the meeting; we will be very pleased to see you.
