December 15, 2017

On Thursday 7th December Year 12 and 13 textile students attended a taster session at Norwich University of the Arts.

They were introduced to the varied content of the Fashion Promotion and Communication course, and were shown exciting examples of fashion photography, advertising and branding projects. They then took part in a fashion forecasting and trending activity, selecting visual elements from historical and contemporary garments and presenting these together with colour swatches and text to produce well balanced mood boards. This was an excellent opportunity for students to consider the vast career opportunities available within the fashion industry and to explore the NUA campus, meet current students and get a taste of the skills required for the Fashion Communications and Promotions course.
