On Saturday we started the first events of the Suffolk County Swimming Championships at the UEA, Norwich with the girls racing the 800m Freestyle and boys in the 1500m Freestyle.
After lots of heats of fast racing the team of 15 swimmers returned with 2 Gold, 3 Silver and 2 Bronze medals and 12 personal best swims.

Silver – Katy Chambers, Sonia Tumiotto & Chester Leeming
Bronze – Oscar Cole & Collins Saliboko
Other swimmers: Rose Webster (11th), Clara Watson-Flowers (4th), Smriti Gokarn (4th), Natalie Sanford (6th), Marin De Villard (4th), Joab Carr (4th), Daniel White (9th) and Samuel Stephens (5th).
The County Championships continue on the 3rd/4th/10th/11th and 25th February.
