The equestrian team spent 3 days at The All England Jumping Course, Hickstead for the National Schools’ Equestrian Association Eventers Championships.
A good weekend. Louisa Everett riding her new horse Ollie as new combinations had a great clear round on Saturday 2nd June. Jack Wilmot riding Nathaniel’s horse Fred were 2nd in the Mini Derby qualifier, out of 46 riders, and 2nd in the Mini Derby Championship becoming National Mini Reserve Champions.
On Sunday 3rd June they had some good and unlucky rounds with Georgia Pleasants and Maria Donovan having great clear rounds in their classes.
On Monday 4th June the 95cm team of Nathaniel Hurst, Georgia Pleasants, Katie Hammett and Jack Wilmot were 3rd out of 34 teams.
Nathaniel was placed individually 5th in the 90cm, out of 32 riders, having had a great round in 1.10 Elite he has qualified to jump in the International ring at Hickstead in August 2018.
