March 14, 2019

On Tuesday 5th March, Year 6 took a minibus to the Bridewell museum in Norwich.

Year 6 were split into four groups and each group went to a different part of the museum to look for Victorian exhibits.

The Victorian Era began in 1837 and ended in 1901. We had a lot of fun finding out information and completing the sheets Miss Greenfield has prepared for us. After that (to most pupil’s delight) we visited the gift shop!

We then walked to the Maddermarket Theatre and were shown around the stage area and auditorium by Dawn. Next term we will be studying some Shakespeare; this visit allowed us to successfully imagine a real Elizabethan stage. I think we all enjoyed our trip and found it both interesting and valuable.

Thank you to Miss Greenfield for organising such a wonderful trip.
