Evie Booker capped off an incredible couple of weeks of cricket, with a stunning maiden 100, scoring 101 playing for Suffolk U13 Girls, helping them to an impressive 164 run victory over Norfolk U13 Girls at Rockland’s Cricket Club on 30th June.
Evie’s good run of form started on the previous weekend with a 65 not out for Melton U13 Girls in a Lady Taverners Cup quarter final where they were victories over Great Shelford U13 Girls from Cambridge and setting up a semi-final with Tonbridge Wells CC to be played 7th July, the victors playing in the national finals in August.
This was followed up the next day with a 93 not out for Suffolk U13 Girls against Essex U13 Girls at Romford CC, helping Suffolk to a 100 run victory.
With the season only at the midway point, Evie has scored 526 runs at an average of 87 and taken 25 wickets, playing for Suffolk U13 Girls, Melton U13 Girls and Southwold Men’s 2nds.
