Part of the Saint Felix Equestrian team travelled to the Hickstead All England Jumping Course for the NSEA School Championships 2021, held over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Charlie Macmillan (Year 8), Ethan Brownhill (Year 9), Flora Macmillan (Year 10) and Lulu Everett (Year 10) represented the school in the Equine America Eventers Challenge Final, where riders are tested against the clock over coloured show jumps and cross country fences.  It is the hottest contested event over the 3 day weekend and although there were no ribbons for the team this year, all the riders had a fantastic run.

Ethan also competed as an individual in the 85cm Show Jumping Qualifier whilst Charlie, Flora and Lulu competed as a team in both the 95cm and 105cm Show Jumping Qualifier.  Ethan rode brilliantly at his height and the team managed to qualify for the NSEA Championship Plate to be held at Keysoe this Autumn.  This is no mean feat as the Championships bring the cream of the riding crop together from around the country to compete.  There were some high individual placings which reflect the hard work and dedication the children put into their equine endeavours
