Another fabulous result for the Saint Felix Equestrian Team last weekend at Forest Edge, for the Eventers Challenge Qualifier which will be held in May at Hickstead.
First up was Prep pupil Rosabella Harrison, riding Flash, who stormed round a very tricky 70cm course to come 2nd: qualifying for Hickstead! This is a huge achievement for this young rider.
Next was the 80cm, which was causing issues for some combinations in the class, but Rosabella and Flash came away with 4 faults and Senior pupil Ethan Brownhill and Dolly ended with 8 faults. Both rode fantastically around a very challenging course.
The 90cm qualifying class also had its challenges, however our team of Ethan Brownhill, Prep pupil Lola Luscher, Senior pupils Flora and Charlie MacMillan gave their all with some faults along the way and a fabulous clear from Lola riding Fred.
Our 100cm consisting of Flora, Charlie and Lola came 2nd, qualifying for Hickstead! A beautiful clear from Flora and Dan, some faults for Charlie on a new ride and some for Lola who has just stepped up to this height on Fred.
I must say a huge thank you to all parents for travelling the kids and ponies up and down the country to represent their school, all owners for allowing us to use your wonderful horses and also Equivents UK for running yet another brilliant show.
