This week Saint Felix Reception pupils explored a story about Sammy the Sea Squirt and learned about ways to keep yourself mentally and physically well.
The story has been written by Mind Suffolk, illustrated by a local artist, and supported by Public Health in partnership with Suffolk County Council.
A funded copy has been made available for every child Reception aged child across Suffolk.
This delightful story followed on from a recent theme with a ‘Mister Seahorse’ story. The children enjoyed joining in with Sammy’s adventures!
Sammy travels the ocean meeting friends and exploring how movement helps us all to keep our brains and bodies healthy.
It was fun listening to the children’s ideas about knowing why it is important to keep yourself mentally, and physically well.
Swoosh! What wonderful work these children have created!
