Saint Felix has been delighted to receive news from former pupil Alice Talbot
Local girl Alice, joined Saint Felix Nursery back in 2003, and attended through the school departments before going on to establish her own Jam, Chutney and Preserves business in 2021: Art’s – Craft Kitchen.
Alice was invited to have a stand at the World Jam Festival in Hemsley, Yorkshire last weekend and won several awards including Best in Show, Gold and Silver for her age category.
“It was a great day and I also met the michelin starred chef Andrew Pern who judged my Bananaruma jam as being Best in Show.”
Alice also had celebratory recipes featured in the Platinum Jubilee edition of Places & Faces magazine back in June (see pages 47-48).
