Dear Parents and Guardians,

It is hard to believe there is less than a week at school left before the Easter holiday. The half term has gone so quickly, and the children have achieved so much! This morning, we were entertained by Bronte leading the Easter Chapel Service. Well done to all of the children involved! There are lots of events to look forward to next week – watching the Year 7 performance of the Lorex, a Prep Department Easter Egg Hunt, House Scramble and half term!

This week in Chapel, the following pupils were presented with certificates:

Star Workers
Reception – Olivia Jenkins
Year 1 – Isla Cameron
Year 2 – Jude Adady

Silver Awards
Year 3 – Theo Anderson

Gold Awards
Year 6 – Caitlin Annis, Thea Love, Isabella Reader, and George Young.

Red Nose Day
The children looked amazing last Friday all dressed in red clothing for Red Nose Day! Thank you for donating online to the Just Giving page and sending your child to school with money to buy cakes from the cake sale. I am delighted to inform you that we raised an incredible grand total of £312.62!

House Scramble – Thursday 28th March
Parents are invited to join us to watch and support the children the annual ‘House Scramble’ relay race on the front field of the school next Thursday 28th March. The race will start promptly at 3pm. All children will be ready to be collected from Clough House after the race and school transport will leave the school at approximately 4pm. Please advise your child’s bus driver if you will be collecting your child following the ‘House Scramble’.

We are delighted to announce that tickets are now available for the Clough Production of ‘A Hint of Snow White.’ via your child’s Wise Pay account, EXP 400. Ticket prices are: Adult tickets £10 and Child tickets £5.

Please can you encourage your child to learn their lines for the production by the end of the Easter half term holiday as this will help immensely with the final week of rehearsals upon the return to school

Details for costumes will be coming out soon but we ask that all pupils in Year 3 to year 6 have black leggings or jogging bottoms and long black sleeved top (both items must not have any logos on them). All children are also require having a pair of ankle black socks. These will need to be stored in school in a named bag. Further details to individual costumes will be released soon and the performing arts team are working hard to gather as many items as possible. We may reach out to parents for costume or prop donations. Thank you for your help in advance. Should you have any questions about the required costumes please contact prepadmin@stfelix.co.uk
