Forty two courageous pupils took to the stage in The Silcox Theatre on Thursday 14th March, to showcase the work they have been preparing for LAMDA examinations.
A packed auditorium enjoyed devised and scripted presentations ranging from Year 4 to Year 12. There were particularly impressive solo performances from Warren Buist, Mollie Barrett-Kelly and Ellie Oliver, but all of the performers did themselves proud. There was an eclectic mix for the audience to enjoy from a physical interpretation of a day trip to the funfair to a disturbing extract from Henrik Ibsen’s classic text, A Doll’s House. On this showing, the pupils can look forward to their examinations this week with great optimism.
