On Tuesday 14th May, thirteen Sixth Form students were visited by Kate and Kim from the Royal Navy Catering Team based at Portsmouth and participated in a Ready Steady Cook event.
The students commented that the Royal Navy cooking experience was very enjoyable.
“We not only learnt about how the catering team work together on ships to create meals out of minimal supplies but we were also given the same task in groups. This allowed teamwork and although some of the meals had an interesting outcome, most were delicious and it was such a fun activity.”
