Our Head of French, Madame Moyle, has started a link with a French school called Collège Saint Louis in Aigueperse, in the Puy-de-Dôme region.
Classes from Yr 7 , 8 and 9 have been writing letters in French which were posted out last weekend.
The pupils will be matched up with French pen-pals and are looking forward to receiving letters from France very soon!
Above shows a photo of some of the letters from Saint Felix pupils which have been sent.
Many of the students included a small gift in their envelope for their French pen-friend.
We hope that the link will lead to further linguistic and cultural projects for our KS3 and KS4 students.
The study of other languages and cultures is very much part of pupil life at Saint Felix throughout all of the school departments – from studying as part of the curriculum to extra-curricular international cookery classes.
