On Wednesday our Years 5 and 6 played Tag Rugby at Lowestoft and Yarmouth Rugby Club. Read the exciting match report below!
Pupils in Year 5 and 6 played three rugby matches on Wednesday afternoon which highlighted their burgeoning rugby skills. They worked on, and developed, keeping their shape in defence while successfully hunting for the ball, putting other teams under pressure.
Daniel hunted the tags like a bloodhound, with help from Barnaby.
When Saint Felix attacked with the ball we found space and time. Ethan produced some wonderful balanced runs and dummies to score a hatful of tries. Captain Robyn also used her determination and powerful running to score a hat-trick in one game!
Matteo, Oliver, Millie, and Ariane all got in on the scoring act through great support and elusive running. The team played with great spirit and determination that epitomised the ethos of rugby!
Congratulations on what was a very successful afternoon!
