Ben Newman has had a fantastic summer of golf. In the Rookery Park Junior Club Championship, he shot a superb gross 75 (nett 70), to win both the scratch and handicap prizes.
Ben has put in some excellent performances in the Suffolk Open and Suffolk Junior Championships this summer and has reduced his handicap from 6 to 4 in the process. Ben also competed in The Masters Tournament junior golf development competition called Drive, Chip & Putt Local Qualifier at Vineyards Country Club in Naples, Florida. He came in 2nd place in the 14-15 boys’ division. Well done Ben.
