Part of the Advent Festival at the United Reformed Church in Southwold, Students of Saint Felix were asked to write a short sentence, or series of words, to describe what Christmas meant to them.
This invited many warm conversations about families and traditions, as well as people’s strong views on materialism during the festive season with students from Year 7 to Year 12. There was much talk of chocolate, Christmas elves and most are very much looking forward to celebrating, resting and sharing Christmas with family and friends.
The students’ words were stitched together and are currently hung as a Christmas decoration the URC Church, along with many other interesting displays on the theme.
