The Drama Department is collaborating with Miss Oldman in the Music Department and Mrs Alison Dean (Choreography), to bring this quirky and enduringly popular musical to The Silcox Theatre stage in June.
Audiences can expect a live band and surprisingly aggressive foliage to entertain them! Forty-five students auditioned for a variety of roles and difficult decisions have been made. Auditions for the lead roles were hotly contested as hitherto unknown talent was uncovered.
Everyone who auditioned was offered a role in the production but the following should be congratulated for securing lead roles: Joe Barbrook (Seymour), Tuppence Paine (Audrey), Cameron Hodds (Audrey 2), Ryan Bland (Orin Scrivello), Mollie Barrett-Kelly (Mushnik), Rose-May Simpson, Mia Devonshire, Imogen Whyte, Fiona Adcroft, Alice Barker-Harrison, Elise Simpson, Lucy Rainer, Evie Booker, Amelia Prowse (Skid Row Urchins), Alice Greenacre (Company lead) and Jack Barrett-Kelly (Audrey 2 Puppeteer).
