On the last day of term, we were delighted to receive a visit from the Bohemian Choir from the Technical University of Liberec, Czech Republic.
The students joined our choir for a rehearsal, lunch and performed an afternoon concert titled “I’ll Take That One.” Pupils from Years 6 to 9 enjoyed listening to stories of the evacuation of children during WW2 with a selection of choral music. As much as our own pupils gained from the experience, it was wonderful to receive feedback from our visitors by how impressed they were by the welcome, friendliness, and good manners displayed within our school community.
