On Sunday 9th June, Evie Booker played Cricket for the U16 Essex EPP team (Evie is only 12!) against Germany ladies.
Germany were playing Essex as a warm up game in preparation for the ICC World Cup qualifiers this week.
They played two 20/20 matches. Essex won first game 145 for 1 v 98 for 7. They lost the second game by 7 runs. Both were good games and a massive step up in quality for Evie.
Evie opened bowling in both games. She did not get any wickets but bowled and fielded well. It was a great experience for her.
