On Tuesday afternoon this week, our Reception and Year one pupils created artwork for Junior Sketch for Survival 2022 – a global art initiative in aid of conservation

The children had the pleasure of Mrs Monson (Isla’s mummy) joining us to share her wonderful illustrative techniques.

Short-listed art selected from all submissions will be exhibited in London & Manchester, as well as competing for one of the awards, which have two categories: Wildlife and Wild Spaces in three age groups (up to 7, 8-12 and 13-16yrs).

The submission phase runs from 1 February to 30 June. The selection phase is July-August. Exhibitions run September-October.

There’s a thriving community of artists here at Saint Felix and an art showcase coming up next month for our GCSE and A Level pupils which we know will inspire the children across the school.

For now, good luck to our pupils and looking forward to updates!
