The Nursery classroom topic this half term is ‘people who help us’ and this week our Nursery pupils have been learning about the police.

The children have enjoyed a role-play police station, where they have been writing reports, looking for clues and arresting suspects!

Some forensics were involved too, as the children learned about how unique our fingerprints are and looked at the different patterns made when they are printed.

The children were interested to hear that our Nursery Supervisor, Mrs Stephens, was a police officer in London.

The children loved looking at mementos Mrs Stephens brought in and were fascinated to hear her stories about being in the Metropolitan Police.

Enquiries to join the Saint Felix Nursery are warmly welcomed.
