Isabelle Last, Year 6, has written the match report.

On the 18th of January 2019 Saint Felix U11 A team played Norwich Lower School on the hard courts outside. The weather conditions out there weren’t the best for playing netball as it was so cold -2, but at least it wasn’t snowing. Everyone put in their best efforts and although we lost 6-4 it was a good effort as many of the girls playing also play for Norfolk County Academy Hub teams.

The positions were as follows; Esme (GK) did some excellent defending and she was always there to get the rebounds. My marking paid off as I got player of the match! (GD). Rima (WD) was always in space and calling when she wanted the ball. Skye (C) was on the top of the D, offering help to the shooters when they needed it and she was driving in. Lara (WA) found space well, in order to do that she had to dodge players and was very nippy. Matilda (GS) scored 2 of the four goals she also got away from her defender and got possession on the rebounds. Isla (GA) battled on despite a bleeding knee as one of her goals had to be stopped as her knee was bleeding too much but luckily, she got it in after some first aid. Excellent effort team!
