The Netball season started this week for our U11 and U13 teams.

On Wednesday, the whole of Year 7 and Year 8 travelled to Orwell Park to play their first Netball fixtures of the season. It was a largely successful trip with Saint Felix recording two wins. The A team won 11-2 with Imogen Whyte voted player of the match by the opposition and the B team won 7-0 with Lola Marsden voted player of the match. The C team unfortunately lost but showed good determination and improvement throughout the game. Player of the match was Olivia O’Connor.

On Thursday the U15 A and B Netball teams travelled to Woodbridge to play their first match of the season.
The U15 A Team lost their match 17-13. It was a tale of two halves as they lost the first two quarters but fought hard to come back and win the second two quarters which resulted in a very narrow defeat overall. A special mention must go to captain Eirinn Cross who was voted player of the match.

The U15B team produced a very promising performance winning 11-6. Special mention must go to Lily Ellard and player of the match Ellie Oliver for their excellent defensive work.
