Swimming Club

Discover Excellence in Swimming at Saint Felix School!

If you are passionate about swimming, look no further than Saint Felix School Swimming Club.

Our journey began in 2004 with the exceptional talent within our school and county swimmers. To nurture this potential, we teamed up with British Swimming and appointed a nationally acclaimed swimming coach, Sue Purchase, as our Director of Swimming. Due to the club’s success, we welcomed Laura O’Connell as our Head Age Group Coach in 2007 to work alongside Sue. In the club’s progression, Nick Thompson was appointed Head Coach in 2011, to continue the development and success.

Under their expert guidance, our club has flourished, growing from a humble 12 swimmers to a thriving community of over 80, attracting talent from across the globe. Our competitive squad system competes at the highest levels, including County, Regional, National, and International competitions. Our track record in competition speaks for itself, with our swimmers consistently achieving medals, including gold in international competitions.

Exciting opportunities for swimming scholarships are also available, tailored to recognise an individual’s achievements. Visit our “Contact” page for more details on scholarship opportunities.

At Saint Felix School, we believe that long-term swimming success is achieved by starting lessons as young as possible. Our swimmers join our squad system through their weekly 40-minute school swimming lessons and learn-to-swim programme, which begins in Nursery.

Our learn-to-swim programme caters for swimmers of all ages and skill levels. We offer engaging classes for parents and toddlers, non-swimmers, beginners, and improvers. These 30-minute lessons are led by Swim England Level 2 teachers, ensuring that your children acquire the skills of a competent and confident swimmer while having fun in a supportive and, most importantly, safe environment.

Unleash your potential at Saint Felix School Swimming Club and be part of a community dedicated to excellence.
