Saint Felix Celebrates

Saturday 17th November saw the biggest team in the history of the swimming department head to the London Aquatics Centre for the National Senior School Relay Championships.

Having qualified in 11/12 events (1st Reserve in the 12th), two minibuses and 26 pupils made the trip. We had 5 finals and 3 reserves, Saint Felix’s best ever result. The teams competed in one or both of the 4x50m Medley Relay & 4x50m Freestyle Relay:

Yr 7/8 Girls: Clara Watson-Flowers, Noni Thole, Ava Lines & Rose Webster
Freestyle Relay: 11th (1st Reserve)
Medley Relay: 6th in FINAL

Yr 7/8 Boys: William Ellard, Lazar Nemeth, Harrison Bell & Oscar Cole
Medley Relay: 28th

Yr 9/10 Girls: Imogen Block, Kiara Jessop, Natalie Sanford & Chichi Zengeni
Freestyle Relay: 7th in FINAL
Medley Relay: 13th

Yr 9/10 Boys: Joab Carr, Delvin Barick, Marcus Moscuzza, Samuel Stephens & Marin De Villard
Freestyle Relay: 6th in FINAL
Medley Relay: 12th (2nd Reserve)

Yr 11-13 Girls: Sonia Tumiotto, Smriti Gokarn, Charlotte Walker & Sophie Taylor
Freestyle Relay: 5th in FINAL
Medley Relay: 12th (2nd Reserve)

Yr 11-13 Boys: Collins Saliboko, Dennis Mhini, Owen Webster, Finn Jeffery &Goscha Gorovoj (Georgy)
Freestyle Relay: 14th
Medley Relay: 10th in FINAL

The level of achievement is growing every year and is a huge credit to all the pupils.

We also had pupils racing at the City of Norwich Open meet over the weekend. The team performed well, winning 37 Gold, 30 Silver and 33 Bronze medals and achieving 142 Suffolk qualifying times & 30 Regional times.
