Students from Saint Felix travelled to the Harvey Haddon Sports Centre in Nottingham on Saturday 23rd (U9’s, U10’s, U11’s and U12’s) and Sunday 24th (U13 and older) November to compete in the British Modern Biathlon Championships.
This is one of the largest occasions of the Pentathlon GB calendar, this invitation-only event will welcome the best performing athletes from a number of biathlon qualifiers that took place around the country throughout August, September and October.
On the Saturday, Herbie Shaw-Clutten finished 12th and Ben Every finished 22nd.
On Sunday, Sam Rose finished 4th, Sam Stephens finished 14th and Josh Stephens 15th. The points achieved from their individual run and swim performances were then added together in the team category in which they finished top boys team in their age group. Well done!
