Bronte star workers

Harry in Reception class has worked hard, not only learning his letter sounds but how to pronounce them. He demonstrated this to us beautifully by ‘fishing for words’ and finding the correct sound at the end of each word he caught.

Harry in Year 1 is a whizz at mental maths. He not only knows his addition number bonds to ten, but also to twenty. We tried to catch him out but even Mr Harrison was unable to.

Charlie also in Year 1 has worked hard with Mrs Clarke. His confidence has grown, and tremendous progress made with numbers to ten and sounding out CYC words.

Isla in Year 2 got an extra star award from Madame Crane for exceptional work in French.
