On Wednesday 25 April the U13 Girls Cricket team of Lucy Rainer, Mia Devonshire, Michaela Taiwo, Polly Chan, Indira Gopee, Imogen Whyte, Clara Watson-Flowers, Louisa Everett, Evie Booker, Ava Lines and Rose Webster recorded a great victory against Royal Hospital School (RHS).
Having won the toss Captain Lucy chose to bowl first, excellent fielding and tremendous bowling restricted the confident RHS to 92/6 from 20 overs. Wicket takers were Lucy 2, Mia 2 (1 great catch) Michaela 1 and Evie 1. In reply our girls struggled early on as we lost early wickets leaving us on 13/3 but then Evie (36no) and Rose (16no) batted superbly to put on 80 runs and see us home with 4 overs to spare.
A great performance all round by all 11 girls, fantastic achievement. Well done!
