Saint Felix Celebrates

Saint Felix School Swimming Club were proud to have four members represent their home countries at the World Swimming Championships and World Junior Swimming Championships during July and August 2019.

Collins Saliboko representing Tanzania headed to Gwangju, South Korea for the World Championships, swimming a best time in the 100m Butterfly, while unfortunately being disqualified in the 200m butterfly after a turn violation.

Noni Thole (representing Zambia), Dennis Mhini and Delvin Barick (representing Tanzania) had the slightly shorter journey to Budapest, Hungary for the World Junior Championships. Noni competed in six events and swam best times in the 50m and 100m backstroke with Dennis and Delvin racing a total of ten events between them resulting in Dennis swimming personal best times in all six events (50m, 100m, 200 freestyle, 50m, 100m backstroke and 50m butterfly) and Delvin swimming best times in the 100m and 400m freestyle.
